These terms cover this website and the software Cornstalk Studios LLC makes: StoryBarn, and any tool of ours that connects to a third-party platform such as TikTok or YouTube on your behalf. Using either means you accept them.
You may read the site and use our tools for lawful purposes, with an account you are entitled to use. Where a tool acts on your behalf on another platform, you remain bound by that platform's own terms, and you are responsible for what you ask the tool to do there.
Stories, manuscripts, photographs and sounds you give a tool must be yours, or material you have the right to use this way. StoryBarn will not generate a picture of a recognisable real person from a photograph unless you have tagged that photograph as one of your characters and your production's own policy allows it; even then, the right to do so is yours to have. The books the tool offers to try are public domain.
What you make with our tools is yours. We claim no rights in it beyond what is needed to run the tool you asked to run. Pictures, voices, music and video are generated by third-party providers — Google and ElevenLabs among them — and what they return is subject to their terms as well as ours. A generated result may be wrong, and StoryBarn is built to say so: it checks what it makes and refuses to lock what fails, but it does not promise that what passes is right for your purpose.
Some actions in StoryBarn cost money, because a provider charges to generate what you asked for. The tool says what an action will cost before you press it, on our key within your plan's allowance or on a key of your own, and it records what was spent. A generation cannot be cancelled once a provider has accepted it. The prices the tool shows are estimates; the provider's own record is the truth.
Plans, and any charge for them, are as the plans page states at the time. A subscription is billed by Cornstalk Studios LLC for the tool itself. It is separate from any income you earn from what you publish, which stays on the platforms and accounts you own and never passes through us: we are not a marketplace, a bank or a payment processor for creator revenue.
A tool publishes only what you approve, only where you tell it to, and only through accounts you own and connect yourself — YouTube today, with TikTok, Instagram and other platforms as each is supported. Each release is a deliberate act on your part: nothing is cross-posted or scheduled without your press, what a platform requires of an account is yours to meet, and you can revoke a tool's access from the platform that granted it.
The site and the tools are provided as they are. We do not promise that they are free of errors, that a third-party platform or provider will keep its interface, its prices or its models the same, or that a result will suit a purpose you had in mind. We back up the disk your work lives on and promise no fixed period of retention: export your productions. To the extent the law allows, Cornstalk Studios LLC is not liable for loss arising from their use.
You may stop using a tool at any time, revoke any access you granted it from the platform where you granted it, and ask us to delete your account and everything under it. We may withdraw a tool, or your access to it, if it is misused or if we stop offering it.
We may revise these terms. The date at the top says when. Continued use after a change is acceptance of it.
